Design and construction of a laboratory Pelton turbine model
The aim of the project was the design and construction of a Pelton type model turbine. The model is installed in the test ring of the Laboratory of Hydraulic Tyrbomachines NTUA, where it was tested. The experience gained from this research work will be useful for the study and design of other Pelton turbines with different operational points. The diameter of the hydraulic wheel is equal to 400 mm and the nominal power is about 70 kW.
